The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for the Shasta Union High School District to share our story of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet our local needs.

This is the third installment of a three-year plan with specific goals and actions/services designed to address the eight priorities established by the California Department of Education. In addition to other forms of engagement with various educational partners (students, parents, staff, administration, the Board), the approval process for the SUHSD LCAP requires a public hearing be held so the Board can hear comments on the 2026-2027 LCAP. The public can submit written comments or questions to Associate Superintendent Leo Perez at the SUHSD District Office, 2200 Eureka Way, Suite B – Redding, CA 96001 or via email to lperez@suhsd.net prior to the final approval of the LCAP. A public hearing is scheduled for the June 9, 2026 regular Board meeting, and a Board meeting will be held on June 17, 2026 to approve the SUHSD LCAP.
